Eve Evans Walden
For Eve, writing has always been a way to connect to others and to her own thoughts. This began with letters to her grandmother, then chronicling life events through scrapbooking, poetry and journaling. Educational pursuits led to a career in higher education and curriculum development. But, it was motherhood that tapped into Eve’s desire to write. Parenthood became the impetus for meaningful reflection and spiritual epiphanies.
Eve is now a licensed mental health counselor and finds great satisfaction in encouraging others in their own stories. This is her first children’s book. Eve and Alan have been married for, well, a really long time, and have three amazing, young adult kids. They live in Sanford, FL

Steve Sanders
For Steve, there are few things that produce more joy than a white piece of paper, a black ink pen, and an opportunity to create whatever his imagination can dream up! Steve has always loved to make people laugh and think by creating single-panel gag/editorial cartoons and is currently a regular cartoon contributor to a real estate appraisal industry publication.
As a believer, Steve also felt a great desire to present work with an authentic gospel message, particularly for children. The great privilege of illustrating “The Treasury,” his first foray into children’s book illustration, is a direct answer to prayer for just such an opportunity.
Steve has two grown children, the sweetest grandchildren, and lives with his lovely wife, Renae, his biggest supporter, in Wiggins.
